Physical AI Branding Agency

Your robot is differentiated. Your category isn’t.

Embodied AI, physical AI, general-purpose robotics, automation. The market uses these interchangeably and buckets you by whichever one your homepage says first. Meanwhile the thing that actually defends you (a data engine, a policy architecture, a hardware tolerance nobody else holds) never makes it onto the page, because it does not photograph. We position from the engineering out.

In short

Answer summary
Who is it for?
Robotics, embodied AI and autonomous machine companies.
What goes wrong?
A demo proves capability. It does not prove a category.
What do you get?
Category and positioning, naming, narrative, identity, messaging, brand book.
How long does it take?
9–16 weeks from kickoff to a finished brand system. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, one price.
CategoryThe lane you claimGeneral-purpose platform or vertical specialist. The answer changes your comparables, your multiple and who you are benchmarked against.
MoatMade legibleData engine, policy architecture, hardware tolerance. Usually the whole defensibility, usually invisible on the site.
NamingProduct and platformRobot, model, fleet software and the company. A naming system that survives the second product.
NarrativeSensing to actuationThe technical story in plain English, from perception through policy to the thing that moves.
AudienceOperator and investorOne wants uptime and integration. The other wants a platform story. Both read the same page.

The problem

A demo proves capability. It does not prove a category.

Five reasons a studio that does good work for software brands produces something thin for a physical AI company.

What we build

Positioning first, identity second.

01

Category and positioning

Where you sit against the general-purpose platforms and the incumbents, and which buyer the brand speaks to first.

02

Naming

Company, platform, robot and fleet software. A system with room for the product you have not built yet.

03

Narrative

Sensing, policy, actuation and deployment, written so a specialist nods and a generalist follows.

04

Identity

A system that survives a trade stand, a datasheet, a UI, a render and a recruiting post.

05

Messaging

Per audience: operators, investors, partners and the engineers you are trying to hire.

06

Brand book

Rules tight enough to hold when your team applies them without us.

What changes

The translation is the product everyone else is missing.

8–12

Weeks from kickoff to a finished brand system. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, one price.

10

Engineers across strategy, 3D, delivery and the build. The person writing your autonomy story has shipped hardware.

2

Buyers held in one brand: the operator who needs uptime, the investor who needs a platform.

The other half

Positioning decides what the brand claims. The website is where a specialist decides whether to believe it. That is the other half of this engagement.

Before you book

Questions we get from physical AI founders.

What counts as physical AI?

Systems where a learned policy drives hardware in the real world: humanoids and mobile manipulators, autonomous ground and air vehicles, warehouse and agricultural robotics, surgical and lab automation, and the perception and control stacks underneath them.

Why does physical AI need different branding to software AI?

Software AI is judged on output quality. Physical AI is judged on reliability under conditions the buyer imagines going wrong. The brand has to carry intervention rate, deployment envelope and failure behaviour without turning the site into a datasheet.

Do you do naming as well as identity?

Yes. Company, platform, robot and fleet software, with a system that still works when the second form factor ships.

How long does it take?

Nine to sixteen weeks for positioning, narrative, identity and brand book. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, one price.

Do you sign NDAs before seeing the stack?

Yes, and it is the normal starting point. Most of what makes a physical AI company defensible is not public.
